The New York Giants Week 10 preview is no happy experience, but we do it anyway because we signed up for this.
As the Giants head to Chicago to face the Bears, things are not looking up at all. With another loss against San Francisco last week, not to mention several key injuries to the team’s offense, there is very little by way of hope for the 2025 season. Giants fans can only hope that Jaxson Dart remains healthy and is ready to go for 2026. Hopefully, by then, the Giants will have made wholesale changes. (It would be nice if they try, at least.)
Our latest preview gets into some of the details of the game, should it make any difference at this point. Hey, they are well under .500 and in essence playing for nothing – what else can we tell you?
NY Giants Week 10 Preview: What’s Left?
Following the loss to the 49ers, not a whole lot. The team’s playoff hopes (such that they existed) were over once they gave up 33 points in the fourth quarter in Denver. The second Philadelphia game dug the hole deeper, and then a flat effort against San Francisco continued the downward spiral. It is almost unthinkable that a team which was showing such signs of life and promise could have it all eliminated over the course of a few weeks. As quickly as the Giants’ new life was found, it was gone again.
There is blame to go around, of course. One thing is clear: The current regime cannot be allowed to continue beyond this season. They got four years to implement their plan, and it has not worked. Let Jaxson Dart have a coach who will help him flourish.
