It’s hard to believe it’s already Week 5 in CFB, but college football rolls on, and so does the latest preview for the 2025 season.

It is becoming more clear by the day which teams are getting the job done and who will struggle to make the College Football Playoff. Teams that we thought we contenders, like Clemson or even Notre Dame, are looking like they will fall short. (In Clemson’s case, they won’t even come close.)

As for the teams that are still contending for something? We found four top games on the schedule and will assess each team’s chances.
