2019 Beanpot Bracket: The 67th Beanpot

Worth a hill of beans.

You are probably tired of hearing about Boston sports these days, but the 2019 Beanpot bracket sheds light on an annual Boston sports tradition.

The 67th Beanpot kicks off on Monday, February 4, 2019 with its championship and consolation game on February 11. This is a college hockey staple as four Boston teams face off in the most noteworthy of the meaningless tournaments of the regular season. It may not mean a lick in the scheme of things this 2018-19 college hockey season, but it means a lot to the Huskies, Eagles, Terriers, and Crimson.

Will the Northeastern Huskies, who just ended a long drought, make it back-to-back titles for just the second time ever? What does Harvard, a team on the rise this season, have to offer this tournament? Finally, are one of the blue bloods, Boston University or Boston College, bound to reclaim the trophy?

Remember, if you’re a college hockey fan, we are also updating the bracketology on a regular basis. Several of these teams could use quality wins, and this tournament offers a few.
