2018-19 Week 6 College Basketball Bracket Impact Games

As we navigate the season, we come upon the 2018-19 Week 6 college basketball bracket impact games.

It won’t be until the weekend, which is to say the end of Week 6, that we see some games of note in non-conference play. However, even as the week began, we saw a huge upset that is going to be mentioned throughout the bracketology process. Such is the case in the non-conference games: every team plays cupcake games, some play more than others (and they tend to go to the NIT). The ones that lose to said teams also tend to find their way to the NIT, but this is not always the case. We will see how things play out for Villanova, the defending national champions, who have taken a couple knocks already.

RealTimeRPI.com is our source for up-to-date RPI figures. With the regular season anywhere from a quarter to a third over for many teams, it’s time to rely on this figure. You can feel however you want about it, but bracketology has to have at a minimum an acknowledgment of it. Sure, the Selection Committee is doing “quadrants” now, but RPI still matters. As the season progresses and our own bracketology takes off, we will dig into those quadrants.

Here, these are the day-to-day games for this week that will help shape that tournament field of 68.
