2018 Beanpot Tournament: Bracket and Team Breakdowns
For all the beans in Boston.
While Boston is once again caught up in the fervor of Super Bowl Mania, an annual Boston tradition comes around with the 2018 Beanpot Tournament.
The same four teams every year tee it up at the TD Garden on Boston’s North End. Their prize is a trophy shaped like a beanpot, and college hockey bragging rights. As tournaments go, it’s the biggest meaningless tournament in town.
Follow the bracket, and follow the action. Harvard won the 2017 Beanpot for the first time since 1993. The Crimson broke a 23-year streak in which only Boston College or Boston University won.
