We already made our NHL first round playoff picks, but it’s time to get strength in numbers.
The Bracket Yard scoured some of the main sports outfits of the interwebs to total up their playoff picks.
Including our own, we rounded up the predictions of 44 analysts, media personalities, and savants such as ourselves. The results are the consensus picks for each of the eight series.

Washington Capitals vs. Toronto Maple Leafs
Boston Bruins vs. Ottawa Senators
New York Rangers vs. Montreal Canadiens
Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Pittsburgh Penguins
Washington was the only team to sweep the NHL first round playoff picks with 44 up, 44 down. The most divided of all the series in the East is Boston-Ottawa, but even at that, the Bruins are the favorites 64 percent of the time.
