NFL Championship Picks: Setting the Super Field
[lead align=”default”]The NFL championship picks for the 2016 season feature two games with low spreads and high drama.[/lead]
In the first game of the weekend, Green Bay against Atlanta, you can practically picture this going a couple different ways. This game has a certain unpredictability to it, considering both offenses are very hot, as are both teams.
It could be an offensive explosion with the winner being the team with the ball last. Or, it could turn out completely contrary to expectations with it being a grind. Whichever way it turns, this will be exciting.
As for the game taking place in Foxboro, it would certainly seem that “grind” will fit, given that the Pittsburgh Steelers are involved. The host New England Patriots had a fight on their hands last week, and the Steelers have both a good defense and a chip on their collective shoulder. This isn’t a team that’s intimidated, but neither are the Pats, who are seeking their fifth Super Bowl under Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.
One wonders if the Steelers’ bashing of the Patriots, supposed to be clandestine but not, will motivate them. As if a team needs additional motivation at this stage of the season.
Two new teams will be in the Super Bowl this season; it’s just a matter of which two.
