This reflects the victories in today’s AFC and NFC Divisional playoff games. So far, the NFL’s 2016-17 postseason has been all chalk.

First Divisional Weekend Bracket Update

2017 NFL Divisional Playoffs as of 1-14-17

How It Happened

In the first game, an NFC bout between the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta rolled to a 36-20 win. This means that the NFC’s two seed was the first to advance to the conference championship round.

We still don’t know if the Falcons will host that game, or if they head to Dallas. They’ll be rooting hard for Green Bay tomorrow to get that game in Hotlanta.

The second contest of the evening, just concluded, was an AFC Divisional playoff between the Patriots and Texans. New England advanced to the AFC Championship Game thanks to their 34-16 win over Houston. The AFC’s road to the Super Bowl is definitely going through Foxboro, with the Pittsburgh-Kansas City winner playing there next weekend.
