NFL Divisional Playoff Picks: A Better Round

[lead align=”default”]Wild Card Weekend disappointed massively, but the cream rose to the top, and our NFL Divisional playoff picks feature better games.[/lead]

Of the four games last weekend, it was hard to find one ultimately worth a damn. As for this weekend, all four of the best teams in the NFL enter action, and face stiff games in most cases.

Only the Houston-New England game appears to be a coming dud. The Patriots are huge favorites, and people will eat their hats if Brock Osweiler goes into Foxboro and outduels Tom Brady. Houston has a good defense, but it’s New England in January. Not to mention, Houston is a bad road team that got crushed at Gillette by New England’s third-string quarterback. The only question is whether or not the Pats cover the vast spread.

Seattle at Atlanta, Pittsburgh at Kansas City, and Green Bay at Dallas should all be entertaining. In fact, it would be surprising if they aren’t. The Seahawks aren’t what they used to be, but they can still win, and Atlanta has a hot offense. Kansas City is one of the AFC’s best, but Pittsburgh is a perpetual contender. Finally, Dallas had the best record in the NFC with their young core, but Green Bay is no stranger to the spotlight.

Who covers the spread in this week’s action?
