Bowl Picks: 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl
[lead align=”default”]Which team gets figuratively slain in the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl? We’ll all find out tomorrow, won’t we?[/lead]
What we have here is another ACC-SEC battle. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets home to swarm on the Kentucky Wildcats, who fought their way back into a bowl this year. Georgia Tech has been in and out of bowls for the whole Paul Johnson tenure, but the Jackets are a team that’s been more good than bad over the past decade.
As for Kentucky, well, it’s probably been more bad than good, but hey, it’s a basketball school. Nevertheless, will the basketball school prevail over the triple-option team?

2016 TaxSlayer Bowl: The Edge
Georgia Tech runs, and runs, and runs some more. Kentucky has one of the worst run defenses in all of FBS at 107th (225 ypg allowed). You know what the Jackets are going to do, but are the Wildcats going to be able to do anything about it?
Probably not defensively, but Kentucky has at times been able to score points. They’re going to need them.
