[lead align=”default”]Here’s another game, the 2016 Cactus Bowl, where the Group of Five team is clearly superior to the Power Five team.[/lead]
The Boise State Broncos are the Group of Five team, and their track record over the last ten years is unsurpassed. This is the GO5 team of destiny over the past decade. Even without Chris Petersen, they’ve hummed along, even though they lost a whopping two games this season.
Baylor did the opposite of what Miami-Ohio accomplished. The Bears started the season with six wins in a row and shot into the top ten. They then followed that up by losing every game in the second half of the regular season to settle at 6-6. Baylor averaged about 44 points per game while they were winning, and 26 while losing.
With their offense going entirely the wrong way, do they have a shot in this game?

2016 Cactus Bowl: The Edge
It’s not easy to like Baylor in this game. In fact, it’s been pretty damn hard to like them at all over the last month or so. Their season turned on a dime and went quickly down the toilet. If this is what continues, Boise State will win. You know what they do to Big 12 teams.
